Your purpose is to announce and declare, to be and to express, to experience and to fulfil Who You Really Are …
- It is the purpose of your soul to announce and declare, to be and to express, to experience and to fulfil Who You Really Are. And who is that? Whoever you say you are! Your life lived is your declaration. Your choices define you. Every act is an act of self-definition.
- Do not waste the precious moments of this, your present reality, seeking to unveil all of life’s secrets. Those secrets are a secret for a reason. Grant your God the benefit of the doubt. Use your NOW moment for the Highest Purpose – the creation and the expression of Who You Really Are. Decide who you are – who you want to be-and then do everything in your power to be that.
- Your purpose is to create and recreate yourself anew in each golden moment of Now in the next grandest version of the greatest vision you have ever held about Who You Really Are. To announce and become, express and fulfil, experience and know your true Self.
- There is only one reason to do anything… as a statement to the Universe of who you are.
.
… to make your life a statement and experience of the most glorious idea that you have ever had about yourself
- Life in the physical realm is glorious, and its purpose is to bring you happiness through the awareness of who you really are. So go into this magnificent world of your creation, and make your lifetime an extraordinary statement and experience of the most glorious idea that you have ever had about yourself.
.
Life is a creative process …
- Life is a constant process of limitless creation. It is about recreating Who You are, by remembering all you have always known, and choosing what you want to experience of your Self. Go therefore into this magnificent world of your creation and make your lifetime an extraordinary statement of and a breath-taking experience of the greatest idea that you have ever had of yourself.
- The deepest secret is that life is not a process of discovery, but a process of creation. You are not discovering yourself but creating yourself anew. Seek therefore not to find out Who You Are but determine Who You Want to Be.
.
… rather than a journey of discovery or learning
- Life is a creative process, not a journey of discovery or a school of learning. You’re not discovering yourself, but recreating yourself. So don’t try and figure out who you are, but establish who you want to be. You create your reality every minute, probably without realizing it. You can be, do, and have whatever you can imagine. Didn’t I say you were gods?
- The deepest secret is that life is not a process of discovery, but a process of creation. You are not discovering yourself, but creating yourself anew. Seek not to find out who you are, seek to determine who you want to be.
- You do not live each day to discover what it holds for you, but to create it.
.
Life is about creating who and what you are in order to experience that
- The point of life therefore is to create who and what you are, and then to experience that.
- You are always and forever in the moment of pure creation. The point of life therefore is to create—who and what you are, and then to experience that.
.
You create in each and every moment, whether you are conscious of it or not
- You are always in the process of creating. Every moment, every minute, every day. You are a big creation machine and you are turning out a new manifestation literally as fast as you can think.
- You were created to create – not to react. Creation is the highest form of Divinity, and your birth right. Truth is, you are creating all the time. The central question in your life is whether you are doing this consciously or unconsciously.
- I am not my past. I am not my yesterdays. I am not what I did yesterday, what I said yesterday, what I thought yesterday. I am the grandest version of the greatest vision I’ve ever had about who I am. Creating myself anew in the golden moment of now.
.
You create your reality and the circumstances of your life
- You do not live each day to discover what it holds for you, but to create it. You are creating your reality every minute.
- It is not God’s function to create or uncreate the circumstances of your life. God created you in the likeness of God. You have created the rest, through the power God has given you. God has given you the free choice to create with life as you will.
.
You create meaning for there is no meaning to anything save the meaning you give it
- There is no meaning to anything save the meaning you can give it. Life is meaningless. I give you the opportunity to decide what anything and everything means. Choose why it is happening. Decide why. Do not search for life’s meaning of any event. Give it its meaning. Then announce, declare, express and experience who I Choose to Be in relationship to it. Nothing in my world is real. The meaning of everything is the meaning I give it. I am who I say I am, and my experience is what I say it is.
.
You create moments of grace
- My moments of awakening can come at any time, and through any person. These are my moments of grace, when clarity and wisdom, love and understanding, guidance and insight are brought to me and through me. My life has been created to bring me just such moments. That is why I do whatever it takes – meditate, exercise, pray, read, write, listen to music, whatever I find works – to ignite my awareness daily.
.
You create through your thoughts, words and actions …
- Thought is the first level of creation. Next comes the word. Everything you say is a thought expressed. It is creative and sends forth creative energy into the universe. Words are the second level of creation. Next comes action.
- You can have, be and do whatever you imagine. Thought is pure energy. Every thought is creative.
- Every prayer – every thought, every statement, every feeling – is creative.
.
… and through your choices
- Remember, you are constantly in the act of creating yourself. You are in every moment deciding who and what you are. You decide this largely through the choices you make regarding who and what you feel passionate about.
- Free Choice is the act of pure creation, the signature of God, and your gift, your glory, and your power forever and ever.
.
You are free to create whatever you choose
- You cannot create a thing—not a thought, an object, an event—no experience of any kind—which is outside of God’s plan. For God’s plan is for you to create anything—everything—whatever you want.
- I do not make a judgment about the creations that you conjure, I simply empower you to conjure more—and more and more and more. If you don’t like what you’ve just created, choose again. My job, as God, is to always give you that opportunity.
- So your purpose is what you say it is. Your mission is the mission you give yourself. Your life will be what you create it as, and no one will stand in judgment of it, now or ever.
- I truly want what you truly want—nothing different and nothing more. Don’t you see that is My greatest gift to you?
.
If you don’t like what you’ve created, you’re free to create something different
- If there is some aspect of creation you find you do not enjoy, bless it and simply change it. Choose again. Call forth a new reality. Think a new thought. Say a new word. Do a new thing.
- When you find that your life is out of alignment with your grandest idea of yourself, seek to change it.
- All conditions are temporary. Nothing stays the same, nothing remains static. Which way a thing changes depends on you.
.
You are here to remember who you are …
- Your job on Earth, therefore, is not to learn (because you already know), but to remember Who You Are. And to remember who everyone else is.
.
… to realise you are not your things
- I am unhappy if I think I am my things – job, friends, appearance, money. Sure, I can have fun with them, but I must not confuse with Who I Am. They have nothing to do with displaying or experiencing my True Self – and that is what I came to do.
.
.
You are a spiritual being in a human form
- My soul is the essence of who I am. I am a spiritual being. The being I am is Love. That’s why, when I’m being that, I find my greatest joy. I am God and God is Love. I am an aspect of divinity, experiencing my Self.
- You think of yourselves as humans searching for a spiritual awakening, when in fact you are spiritual beings attempting to cope with a human awakening. Seeing yourselves from the perspective of the spirit within will help you to remember why you came here and what you came here to do.
.
In essence, you are love
- I am Love. Life is about making love. To everything. Love is the point of it all. Love is the energy of which I am made. It is the energy that holds me together. Love is my experience of Self when I see everyone as part of me. It is unity expressed. We are all part of God. I love you comes to mean “the god in me sees the god in you.”
- Who you are is love. What love is, is unlimited, eternal, and free. Therefore, that is what you are. That is the nature of who you are. You are unlimited, eternal, and free, by nature.
- There is only one emotion, one energy, in the universe. The energy, the emotion that we call love. When you know this, everything changes.
.
In essence, you are compassion, peace and joy
- You are goodness and mercy and compassion and understanding. You are peace and joy and light. You are forgiveness and patience, strength and courage, a helper in time of need, a comforter in time of sorrow, a healer in time of injury, a teacher in times of confusion. You are the deepest wisdom and the highest truth; the greatest peace and the grandest love. You are these things. And in moments of your life you have known yourself as these things. Choose now to know yourself as these things always.
.
In essence, you are freedom
- Freedom is not the goal of the human soul, but its very nature. By nature the soul is free. Lack of freedom is, therefore, a violation of the very nature of the soul.
- Freedom is the basic concept and construct of life everywhere, because freedom is the basic nature of God. All systems which reduce, restrict, impinge upon, or eliminate freedom in any way are systems which work against life itself.
- Freedom is Who You Are.
.
Your soul’s purpose is to evolve
- I recognize that even you, yourself, will change. Your ideals will change, your tastes will change, your desires will change. Your whole understandings of who you are had better change, because if it doesn’t change, you’ve become a very static personality over a great many years, and nothing would displease me more. And so I recognize that the process of evolution will produce changes in you.
- There comes a time in the evolution of every soul when the chief concern is no longer the survival of the physical body, but the growth of the spirit; no longer the attainment of worldly success, but the realization of Self.
- The soul is very clear that its purpose is evolution…it is not concerned with the achievements of the body or the development of the mind. These are all meaningless to the soul.
.
Your soul cares more about who you are than what you do
- At the end of your life, you will know that nothing you have done will matter – only who you have been while you have done it. Have you been happy? Have you been kind? Have you been gracious? Have you been compassionate and considerate of others? And most of all, have you been loving? You will see that it is who you have been, not what you have done, that matters to the soul. And you will see that it is your soul, after all, that is Who You Are.
- Your soul doesn’t care what it does for a living – and when your life is over, neither will you. Your souls cares only about what you’re being while you’re doing whatever you’re doing. It is a state of beingness the soul is after, not a state of doingness.
.
Your actions emanate from who you are
- It is from Beingness that Doingness springs… not the other way around.
- That does not mean that “having” and “doing” will be eliminated from your life. It means that what you experience yourself having or doing will spring from your being – not lead you to it.
- Beingness leads to doingness.
.
The soul speaks to you in feelings
- Feeling is the language of the soul. If you want to know what’s true for you about something, look to how you’re feeling about it.
- Feelings are sometimes difficult to discover, and often even more difficult to acknowledge. Yet hidden in your deepest feelings is your highest truth.
- Feelings are the language of the soul, but you must make sure you are listening to your true feelings and not some counterfeit model constructed in your mind.
- The soul speaks to you in feelings. Listen to your feelings, follow your feelings, honour your feelings.
.
Being a light in the dark |
.
We have been placed in a relative realm of light and dark …
- We are all the Light. Light is all we are. But we have been placed in a relative realm (a world of light and dark) so we can experience who we are and who we are not.
.
… in order that we may experience our divinity
- In creating “something else” – namely the realm of the relative – we have produced an environment in which we may choose to be God, rather than simply be told that we are God, in which we may experience our Godness as an act of creation, rather than conceptualisation, in which the little candle in the sun – the littlest soul – can know itself as the light.
- We are all God, Godding – experiencing Our Self through the experiencing of Our parts. We are God expressing Our Self.
- My purpose in creating you, My spiritual offspring, was for Me to know myself as God. I have no way to do that save through you. Thus, it can be said that My purpose for you is that You should know yourself as Me.
.
To experience who you are, you also need to experience who you are not
- Life may more than once call upon you to prove Who You Are by demonstrating an aspect of Who You Are Not.
- You cannot experience that Which You Are in the absence of that which you are not. Therefore, know that when you experience that which you are not, it is not a failure to experience but a way to experience That Which You Are.
.
Light needs the context of darkness for it to be meaningful
- The parable of the soul and the sun: There was once a soul who knew itself to be the light. This was a new soul, and so, anxious for experience. “I am the light,” it said. “I am the light.” Yet all the knowing of it and the all the saying of it could not substitute for the experience of it. For in the realm from which this little soul emerged, there was nothing BUT the light. Every soul was magnificent, and shone with the brilliance of My awesome light. And so the little soul in question was as a candle in the sun. In the midst of the grandest light, of which it was a part, it could not see itself, nor experience itself as Who It Really Is. Now it came to pass that this soul yearned and yearned to know itself. And so great was its yearning that I one day said “Do you know, Little One, what you must do to satisfy this yearning of yours? You must separate yourself from the rest of us and then you must call upon yourself the darkness.” “What is the darkness, oh Holy One?” the little soul asked. “That which you are not.” I replied and the little soul understood. And so this the soul did, removing itself from all Yea, and going even unto another realm. And in this realm, the soul had the power to call into its experience all sorts of darkness. And this it did. And yet in the midst of all the darkness did it cry out, “Father, father, why have you forsaken me?” But I have never forsaken you, but stand by you always, ready to remind you of Who You Really Are, ready, always ready to call you home.
.
Therefore, be a light unto the darkness and curse it not …
- Be a Bringer of the Light. For your light can do more than illuminate your own path. Your light can be the light which truly lights the world.
- Be a light unto the darkness, and curse it not.
.
… for to resist something is to give it life
- What you resist persists. What you look at disappears.
- You cannot resist something to which you grant no reality. The act of resisting a thing is the act of granting it life. When you resist an energy, you place it there. The more you resist, the more you make it real—whatever it is you are resisting.
- The act of resisting something is the act of granting it life… the more you resist, the more you make it real, whatever it is you are resisting.
.
.
Our traditional view of a judgemental God is flawed
- Isn’t it time now for us to declare that the emperor is wearing no clothes? When are we going to admit that we believe in a God of extraordinary contradictions, who we say loves and who we say kills, who we say creates and who we say destroys, who we say accepts and who we say rejects, who we say rewards and who we say punishes, who we say brings us good and who we say visits evil upon us, who we say is the All in All and who we say is separate from everything, who we say is Everywhere Present and who we say is not in us and that we are not?
- So long as you believe in a Two-Faced God, you will create ecstasy and terror side by side. You have imagined a God who is the epitome of both, and by telling yourself that you are created in the Image and Likeness of God, you have given yourself the moral authority to demonstrate both. You love and hate in the name of God.
- You do not understand that love is the basis of all life, nor can you comprehend a love that is unconditional. You imagine that God is a small, petty, jealous deity who says to people bowed in prayer, “Sorry, it’s my way or the highway. Your prayer I hear. Your prayer I don’t, because you didn’t do it right. You did not please me.” In this you turn me into a replica of the worst of humanity. You claim that you are striving to be God- like in your lives… and if this is the God you are striving to be like, you have succeeded brilliantly. You may thank organized religion for teaching you how.
.
The nature of God is unconditional love. God does not judge.
- God is love. God accepts you as you are. God expects nothing of you. God does not judge. Nothing makes God unhappy. God would never condemn anyone. You do not need to change anything or “get better” to be seen as perfect and beautiful in God’s eyes.
- God is love. There is no judgement and there is no separateness. And the only ‘hell’ is the one we create for ourselves here on Earth.
- Others have judged you, and from their judgments you have judged yourself. Now you want God to judge you, and I will not do it.
- I do not love “good” more than I love “bad.” Hitler went to heaven. When you understand this, you will understand God.
- There is no such thing as Judgement Day. None, except that which you inflict upon yourself.
.
The nature of God is freedom
- Masters give themselves the freedom to make any choice they wish—and give those they love the same freedom. Freedom is the basic concept and construct of life everywhere, because freedom is the basic nature of God.
.
God asks for friendship, not worship
- God offers friendship, not lordship—and in return asks for friendship, not worship.
- There is no particular way that God wants you to worship God. Nor, in fact, does God need to be worshipped at all. God’s ego is not so fragile that She must require you to bow down to Her in fearful reverence, or grovel before Him in earnest supplication, in order to find you worthy of receiving blessings. What kind of Supreme Being would need to do this? What kind of God would this be?
.
God is everywhere and in everything
- I tell you, I am in every flower, every rainbow, every star in the heavens, and everything in and on every planet rotating around every star. I am the whisper of the wind, the warmth of your sun, the incredible individuality and the extraordinary perfection of every snowflake. I am the majesty in the soaring flight of eagles, and the innocence of the doe in the field; the courage of lions, the wisdom of the ancient ones.
- See God in everyone and help everyone to see God in themselves.
- God is in the sadness and the laughter, in the bitter and the sweet. There is a divine purpose behind everything—and therefore a divine presence in everything.
.
.
There are many paths to God
- God’s greatest truth is that there is not one way only but many ways Home. There are a thousand paths to God and everyone will get you there. Indeed, all paths lead to God. This is because there is no other place to go.
- Say not this is true. Say this is true for me. Say not mine is a better way. Say mine is merely another way.
.
There is no such thing as an incorrect path for all paths lead to the same place eventually
- Yet know this: there is no such thing as an incorrect path – for on this journey you cannot “not get” where you are going. It is simply a matter of speed—merely a question of when you will get there—yet even that is an illusion, for there is no “when,” neither is there a “before” or “after.” There is only now; an eternal moment of always in which you are experiencing yourself.
.
Choose your life path according to your intuition and desire
- Life is not going to come down there and sprinkle glitter dust on your shoulders to let you know that you are Good…or that you are walking the right Path …or that you are making the Best Decision. Take the next step. Right now. Stop waiting for a “sign” from the “gods.” Your sign is your intuition, wrapped in your desire. Hesitation is not a stopping place on the road to heaven.
.
Move forward on your path with no second-guessing
- Move forward with no second-guessing, no guilt trips, no hesitation. Your purpose is to recreate yourself anew in each moment.
- Do not fence sit. Put your foot down on one side or the other, swing the opposite leg over and start walking. You’ll know before you take ten steps if you’re going in the right direction. Not to decide is to decide. Try to not make choices by default.
.
.
Appreciate the divine order of the universe and the unfolding of a perfect plan
- God–the force, the energy, the design, the experience that some call Divinity–shows itself in your life in the way that is exactly and perfectly suited to the time, place, and situation at hand. You either call that experience “God” or you call it something else- – coincidence, synchronicity, “random event,” whatever. Yet what you call it does not change what it is–it merely indicates your belief system.
- There are no coincidences in the universe.
.
Every moment, you are drawing to yourself the perfect people, places and events for your soul’s spiritual agenda
- I have sent you nothing but angels and miracles. See the perfection in this moment. Your soul chose your life to create the opportunity to fulfil your soul’s agenda. There is no such thing as a chance encounter. Everything is occurring in perfect order, as it should be. You are creating it so. There is always a reason at the soul level why your life is as it is. You are a spiritual being and you came to your body to experience Who You Are. To do this, you are, every moment, drawing to yourself the exact and perfect people, places and events to experience exactly what you came to your physical body to experience.
- I tell you this: There is no coincidence, and nothing happens “by accident.” Each event and adventure is called to your Self by your Self in order that you might create and experience Who You Really Are.
- The universe is conspiring in your favor. It is placing before you in every moment all of the right and perfect people, circumstances, and situations with which to answer life’s only question: Who am I? Have you decided yet?
- The Universe is unfolding precisely as it should. We are all of us, exactly where it is perfect for us to be, all the time. And we need nothing more of our evolution than exactly what we have, and are experiencing, right now.
- When someone enters your life unexpectedly, look for the gift that person has come to receive from you. I have sent you nothing but angels.
- You are, every moment, drawing to yourself the exact and perfect people, places and events to experience exactly what you came to your physical body to experience.
.
Thus, each moment in life is perfect …
- A master understands that life is perfection and always prefers what is occurring.
- All that appears in your life is a blessing, presenting you with a greater opportunity to define who you are, and to know yourself as that.
- Enlightenment is understanding that there is nowhere to go, nothing to do, and nobody you have to be except exactly who you’re being right now.
- Nothing happens in life by accident. Nothing. Nothing occurs in your life by chance. Nothing. Nothing takes place without producing the opportunity for real and lasting benefit to you. Nothing at all. The perfection of every moment may not be apparent to you, yet that will make the moment no less perfect. It will be no less a gift.
- There’s nothing I have to have, there’s nothing I have to do, and there’s nothing I have to be, except exactly what I’m being right now.
- When you have an unconditional love of Life, then you love Life just the way it is showing up, right here, right now. This is only possible when you are “seeing the perfection.”
.
… and every event and circumstance is a miracle
- Each circumstance is a gift, and in each experience is hidden a treasure.
- Every event of life is a miracle, as is life itself. Life is designed to provide your soul with the perfect tools, the perfect circumstances, the perfect conditions with which to realise and experience, announce and declare, fulfil and become Who You Really Are.
.
Embrace the present moment …
- Embrace the present moment with gratefulness and wonder, and you will turn it into whatever you have been waiting for.
- Forget about the past. It does not exist, except in your memory. Drop it. And stop worrying about how you’re going to get through tomorrow. Life is going on Right Here, Right Now —pay attention to that and all will be well.
- Glorify who you are today, do not condemn who you were yesterday and dream of who you can be tomorrow.
- The greatest challenge as human beings is to be here now. Be in the moment. Remember, you sent your Self this moment as a gift.
.
… for each moment is a holy moment
- Each moment of your life is a holy moment, a moment of creation. Each moment is a new beginning. In each, you are born again.
.
Choose to love everything that Life has to offer today
- You have all the tools right now to make this day, this moment, happy. The best of these tools is love. Just love everything that Life has to offer today. And of course, love every person. Then watch the whole experience change.
.
.
You create yourself and your life through your choices
- Remember, you are constantly in the act of creating yourself. You are in every moment deciding who and what you are. You decide this largely through the choices you make regarding who and what you feel passionate about.
- Free Choice is the act of pure creation, the signature of God, and your gift, your glory, and your power forever and ever.
- At every moment of difficulty in your life you have a choice: you can oppose what you are experiencing, or compose what you choose.
.
Your choices contain great power
- It is you who are choosing, in any moment, to be happy or choosing to be sad, or choosing to be angry, or forgiving, or enlightened, or whatever. You are choosing.
- Sometimes the smallest choice, one that you might make within these 24 hours, can set into motion huge energies bringing you great good and enormous joy.
.
Make your choices consciously
- A life lived of choice is a life of conscious action. A life lived of chance is a life of unconscious creation.
.
Choose from a place of love, not fear
- Do what you do for the sheer joy of it. Do what you choose, not what someone else chooses for you.
- Every single free choice you ever undertake arises out of one of the only two possible thoughts that there are: a thought of love or a thought of fear.
- Fear grasps, love lets go. Fear rankles, love soothes. Fear attacks, love amends. Every human thought, word or deed is based in one emotion or the other. You have no choice about this, because there is nothing else to choose. But you have free choice about which of these to select.
.
Take responsibility for your choices and where they have brought you
- I am completely and authentically, all that I choose to be, in this moment. I am aware of what I am choosing to be, I am honest about it, and I accept responsibility for it.
.
Give yourself and others the freedom to choose
- Masters give themselves the freedom to make any choice they wish—and give those they love the same freedom. Freedom is the basic concept and construct of life everywhere, because freedom is the basic nature of God.
.
Realise that every choice you make is a decision about who you are
- Every decision you make—every decision—is not a decision about what to do. It’s a decision about Who You Are. When you see this, when you understand it, everything changes. You begin to see life in a new way. All events, occurrences, and situations turn into opportunities to do what you came here to do.
.
.
There is no truth except the truth that exists within you
- All we have to know is our own truth, not someone else’s. When we understand this, we understand everything. We understand that what others are saying doesn’t have to be The Truth; it only has to lead us to our own. All things lead us to our inner most truth. That is their purpose. When it comes to knowing the Truth, the highest authority lies within you.
- There is no truth except the truth that exists within you. Everything else is what someone is telling you.
- The highest authority lies within me. I believe only what resonates deep within. I let the truth reveal itself. Does it ring true? Does it inspire me? Is this an expression of Who I Am? If it is, it will ring true – for I will have been reunited with my innermost wisdom.
.
Truth is to be found through direct experience, not through words
- Words are merely utterances: noises that stand for feelings, thoughts, and experience. They are symbols. Signs. Insignias. They are not Truth. They are not the real thing. In fact, you place so little value on experience that when what your experience of God differs from what you’ve heard of God, you automatically discard the experience and own the words, when it should be just the other way around.
- Words are the least reliable purveyor of Truth.
.
Tell the truth to yourself and others
- The Five Levels of Truth-Telling: First, you tell the truth to yourself about yourself. Then you tell the truth to yourself about another. At the third level, you tell the truth about yourself to another. Then you tell your truth about another to that other. And finally, you tell the truth to everyone about everything.
.
Care more about how your message of truth is communicated than how it is received
- It is not nearly so important how well a message is received as how well it is sent. You cannot take responsibility for how well another accepts your truth; you can only ensure how well it is communicated. And by how well, I don’t mean merely how clearly; I mean how lovingly, how compassionately, how sensitively, how courageously, and how completely.
.
.
The purpose of a relationship is to decide what part of yourself you would like to experience and express
- If you both agree at a conscious level that the purpose of your relationship is to create an opportunity, not an obligation—an opportunity for growth, for full Self-expression, for lifting your lives to their highest potential, for healing every false thought or small idea you ever had about you, and for ultimate reunion with God through the communion of your two souls—if you take that vow instead of the vows you’ve been taking—the relationship has begun on a very good note.
- In all relationships, there is only one question that has any importance to your soul: “What would love do now?”
- The purpose of a relationship is to decide what part of ourselves we would like to experience and express – not what part of another we can capture and hold. Not to have someone to complete us but to have another with whom to share our completeness.
- The purpose of a relationship is not to have another who might complete you; but to have another with whom you might share your completeness.
- When we lose sight of each other as sacred souls on a sacred journey, then we cannot see the purpose behind all relationships. The purpose of a relationship is to decide what part of ourselves we would like to experience and express – not what part of another we can capture and hold. Not to have someone to complete us but to have another with whom to share our completeness.
.
To have love, be love
- All you have to do to have love is be love.
- Make every moment of your life an outpouring of love.
.
Ask “What would love do now?”
- A five-word sentence that could change the world tomorrow is “What would love do now?”
- Yea, let all those who have ears to hear, listen. For I tell you this: at the critical juncture in all human relationships, there is only one question: What would love do now?
.
Don’t confuse love with need
- Love lets go. Need holds on. This is the way you can tell the difference between need and love. Let go of expectation, let go of requirements and rules and regulations that you would impose on your loved ones.
- For the greatest gift you can give someone is the strength and the power not to need you. To need you for nothing.

Love is not what you want, it is what you are
- Love is not what you want, it is what you are. It is very important to not get these two confused. If you think that love is what you want, you will go searching for it all over the place. If you think love is what you are, you will go sharing it all over the place. The second approach will cause you to find what the searching will never reveal.
.
True love requires nothing
- When you do not require a person to show up as you imagine you need them to be, then you can drop expectation. Then you love them exactly as they are. Yet this can only happen when you love your Self exactly as you are.
- True love requires nothing.
- When you love another for who they are, whether they give you what you need or not, then you truly love them.
.
Love and accept yourself
- Those who love others grandly are those who love themselves grandly. Those who have a high toleration and acceptance of others are those who have a high toleration and acceptance of themselves.
- You must learn to honour and cherish and love your Self. You must first see your Self as worthy before you can see another as worthy. You must first know your Self to be holy before you can acknowledge holiness in another.
- Your light is seen, your heart is known, your soul is cherished by more people than you might imagine. If you knew how many others have been touched in wonderful ways by you, you would be astonished. If you knew how many people feel so much for you, you would be shocked. You are far more wonderful than you think you are. Rest with that. Rest easy with that. Breathe again. You are doing fine. More than fine. Better than fine. You’re doing great. So relax. And love yourself today.
.
That which you wish to have, cause another to have
- Be what you are looking for and what you are looking for will find you. What you seek from another, give to another. That which you wish to experience from another, cause another to experience.
- All you have to do to have love is be love.
- Bring peace to the Earth by bringing peace to all those whose lives you touch. Be peace.
- However little of anything you have, you can always find someone who has less. Find that someone and give to them from the abundance that is yours. Seek not to be the recipient of anything but to be the source. That which you wish to have, cause another to have. That which you hope to experience, cause anther to experience. For what you give you become. And in so doing, you will realise that you have had these things in your possession all along.
- What you give, you become.
- The best and quickest way to achieve all our goals and to live the life of which we have dreamed is to assist others in achieving their goals and living the life of which they have dreamed.
- The joy you experience will be the joy you bring. If you are waiting for joy to be brought to you, you do not understand what you are doing here.
.
Help others as a means of expressing and experiencing who you are
- Do not do something, therefore, because you think someone else needs you. That only builds resentment. Do whatever you do as a means of deciding, declaring, creating, and experiencing who you are—and who you choose to be.
- When I see others in need, I allow myself to use the illusion to express the part of myself that I choose to experience. But be clear that I never do anything for another. Everything I do I do for myself. That is because the self is all there is. In this way, there is no resentment.
.
What you do for another, you do for your Self.
- What you do for your Self, you do for another. What you do for another, you do for the Self. This is because you and the other are one. And this is because…there is naught but You.
- It is in sharing the most, not gathering the most, that the most is received.
.
Affirm people and bestow the gift of self esteem
- Do not let a moment go by in which you have an opportunity to tell someone how magnificent they are. Give people the gift of self- esteem, and you will have given them a gift that many connot find a way to give themselves. Yet when they find themselves through their own grandest idea of who they really are, they are lost no more, for you have returned them to themselves.
- Help people know they’re loved. Spend the rest of your life giving people back to themselves, that they might love themselves. And show them by how you are with them that you know there is nothing they are lacking, nothing they are missing, nothing they need, nothing they are not.
- Make it your life’s mission today to bring to the attention of another just how extraordinary they are. Say it. Say it. SAY it. Their heart is waiting to know that their own best thought about themselves can be believed.
.
See the beauty and the wonder of all whose lives you touch
- Is the tulip superior to the rose? Are the mountains more majestic than the sea? Which snowflake is the most magnificent? Is it possible that they are all magnificent – and that, celebrating their magnificence together, they create an awesome display. See the beauty and the wonder of all whose lives you touch. For you are each wondrous indeed, yet no-one more wondrous than another. And you will one day melt into Oneness, and know then that you form together a single stream.
.
Realise you are one with everyone
- Feel and express in every moment your Divine Connection with the All, and with every person, place, and thing.
- When you see others who appear separate from you, look at them deeply. Look into them. Do this for a long moment and you will capture their essence. And you’ll meet you, waiting there.
.
Do to others as you would have done to yourself
- This is the great secret. This is the sacred wisdom. Do unto others as you would have it done unto you. All of your problems, all of your conflicts, all of your difficulties in creating a life on your planet of peace and joy are based in your failure to understand this simple instruction, and to follow it.
.
.
Harness the power of desire but don’t become attached to the object of your desire
- Desire is a powerful force that can be used to make things happen. Yet do not confuse desire with expectation, or with need. Desire has an entirely different quality to it. You can desire something without needing or requiring it. That little difference makes everything work. That little difference is the whole trick. Desire, do not Require. To desire propels. To require compels. Life will not be compelled, but it can be coaxed.
- Look to see what you most desire in your life, then ride that feeling all the way to creation.
.
Let go of your attachments and addictions
- You must be willing to lose it all before you can have it all! What does this mean? It means that until you can let go of everything, you will find it hard to hold onto anything. Detachment is the key. If you are so attached to something that you are deeply unhappy without it, then you are not simply attached, you are addicted.
.
.
Life proceeds out of your intentions for it
- Life proceeds out of your intention. Your true intention is revealed by your actions, and your actions are determined by your true intention.
.
Create a vision of what you want to be, do and have
- You get your life to “take off” by first becoming very, very clear in your thinking. Think about what you want to be, do and have. Think about it often until you are very clear about this. Then when you are very clear, think about nothing else. Imagine no other possibilities. Throw all negative thoughts out. Release all your doubts. Reject all fears. Discipline your mind to hold fast to the original creative thought. When your thoughts are clear and steadfast, begin to speak them as truths. Say them out loud. Use the great command that calls forth creative power: I am. “I am” is the strongest creative statement in the universe. Whatever you think, whatever you say, after the words “I am” sets in motion those experiences, calls them forth, brings them to you.
.
Then change your thoughts, words, and actions to match your vision
- Now, having seen the differences between where you are and where you want to be, begin to change—consciously change—your thoughts, words, and actions to match your grandest vision.
.
Have intentions but don’t have expectations
- Have intentions but don’t have expectations, and certainly don’t have requirements. Do not become addicted to a particular result. Do not even prefer one. Elevate your Addictions to Preferences, and your Preferences to Acceptances.
- It is your judgments which keep you from joy, and your expectations which make you unhappy.
- There is nothing scary about life if you are not attached to results.
.
.
Make time each day to be still
- He who does not go within, goes without.
- If you believe the noises of the world, rather than the silences of your soul, you will be lost.
- In the stillness, you will find your true being. In the silence, you will hear the breathing of your soul – and of God. You will find God in the Stillness.
- Simply be quiet. Be with your Self in the stillness. Do this daily. Just stop. Stop all your doingness. Stop all your thinking. Just “be for a while. Take an hour every day at dawn and give it to your Self. Meet your Self there in the holy moment. Then go about your day. You will be a different person.
.
Take an hour every day and give it to your Self
- Take an hour every day at dawn and give it to your Self. Meet your Self there, in the holy moment. Then go about your day. You will be a different person.
.
Practice non-judgement
- But judge not, and neither condemn, for you know not why a thing occurs, nor to what end. And remember you this: that which you condemn will condemn you, and that which you judge, you will one day become. Rather, seek to change those things—or support others who are changing those things—which no longer reflect your highest sense of Who You Are. Yet, bless all—for all is the creation of God, through life living, and that is the highest creation.
- Do not condemn all that you would call bad in the world. Rather, ask yourself, what about this have you judged bad, and what, if anything, you wish to do to change it.
- Each to his own, without judgement—that is the motto.
- It is not for you to judge the journey of another’s soul. It is for you to decide who you are, not who another has been, or has failed to be.
- It is your judgments which keep you from joy, and your expectations which make you unhappy.
- Observing is witnessing. Judging is concluding. I do not draw conclusions about Who You Are because in your creation of yourself you are never concluded.
- The first thing to understand about the universe is that no condition is “good” or “bad.” It just is. So stop making value judgments.
.
Replace judgement with gratitude
- When gratitude replaces judgment, peace spreads throughout your body, gentleness embraces your soul, wisdom fills your mind. Let gratitude replace judgment and your whole experience of life will take a turn for the better.
.
Slow down for impatience will get you nowhere
- If you insist on being in a hurry, you’ll move very quickly — and often get nowhere. Take a breath. Find your peace.
- Impatience will get you nowhere, fast.
.
See problems and challenges as opportunities
- Cultivate the technique of seeing all problems as opportunities. Opportunities to be, and decide, Who You Really Are.
- Each circumstance is a gift, and in each experience, is hidden a treasure.
- Consider the possibility that the little obstacles in life are not obstacles at all, but stepping stones.
- Know and understand that there will be challenges and difficult times. Don’t try to avoid them. Welcome them. Gratefully.
- Know that what you do in the time of your greatest trial can be your greatest triumph.
- What part of my Self do I wish to experience now in the face of this calamity? What aspect of being do I choose to call forth? For all of life exists as a tool of your own creation, and all of its events merely present themselves as opportunities for you to decide and be, Who You Are.
- Things do not happen to you, they happen for you. There is an opportunity for you to grow in every situation.
.
Let go of the need to be right
- Being “right” has nothing to do with it. The idea that you call “right” is the idea that someone else calls “wrong.” The solution that you call “perfect” is the solution that another calls “unworkable.” The position that you feel is unassailable is the very position that others assail. What will solve all of this? Not attack, that’s for sure. And not defence, either. So what is left? Simple human love. The kind of love that says, “It doesn’t matter who is right or wrong. It only matters that you are not hurt. And that we both can benefit. All true benefits are mutual.
.
Be bold and take risks
- Life awaits you on the other side of Risk. What can you lose? Face? Dignity? Who cares about those when greatness is possible? Who cares about those when fairy tales are at hand?
- The voice of caution knows nothing of real joy.
.
Stretch your comfort zone
- Life begins at the end of your comfort zone.
.
To reduce pain, change the way you behold and react to events
- The way to reduce the pain which you associate with earthly experiences and events—both yours and those of others—is to change the way you behold them.
- What’s happening is merely what’s happening. How you feel about it is another matter.
- Suffering has nothing to do with events, but with one’s reaction to them. What’s happening is merely what’s happening. How you feel about it is another matter.
.
Respond consciously to events rather than reacting unconsciously
- Suffering has nothing to do with events, but with one’s reaction to them. What’s happening is merely what’s happening. How you feel about it is another matter.
- Do not jump into reaction mode at the first appearance of negative energy. Just breathe, and relax.
.
Embrace uncertainty
- If you want guarantees in life, then you don’t want life. You want rehearsals for a script that’s already been written.
.
Harness the power of passion by doing what you love
- Passion is the love of turning being into action. It fuels the engine of creation. It changes concepts to experience. Never deny passion, for that is to deny Who You Are, and Who You Truly Want to Be.
- Go ahead and do what you love to do. Do nothing else! You have so little time. How can you think of wasting a single moment doing something for a living you don’t like to do. That is not a living, that is dying!
.
Allow forgiveness to expand your perception
- Forgiveness is a great healer. You can literally forgive your way to health. You can forgive your way to happiness.
- You will not see in yourself that which is Divine until you forgive that which you believe is not. And you will be unable to behold the divinity in another unless and until you do the same. Forgiveness is the expander of perception.
.
Question your values
- I have not said your values are wrong. But neither are they right. They are simply judgments. Assessments. Decisions. For the most part, they are decisions made not by you, but by someone else. Your parents, perhaps. Your religion. Your teachers, historians, politicians.
.
- Let your life be a positive message and an example for others
- Everything you think, say, and do is a message. Your whole life is your teaching. If you thought that others, tomorrow, would walk in the path that you have taken today, would you take the same path? You may think that people do not look to you, but they do. More people than you know. Everyone, in fact whose life you touch is touched by your example.
.
Realise your world is the physical manifestation of your thoughts
- All you see in your world is the outcome of your idea about it.
- Everything that occurs—everything that has occurred, is occurring, and ever will occur—is the outward physical manifestation of your innermost thoughts.
- Of this I can assure you: who you think you are is exactly who you will wind up being. You are your own thoughts about yourself, manifest.
.
When you catch yourself thinking negative thoughts, think again
- When you catch yourself thinking negative thoughts—thoughts that negate your highest idea about a thing—think again! I want you to do this, literally. If you think you are in a doldrum, in a pickle, and no good can come of this, think again. If you think the world is a bad place, filled with negative events, think again. If you think your life is falling apart, and it looks as if you’ll never get it back together again, think again.
.
Stop comparing yourself with others
- Must you know that yours will be the “better “picture before you pick up the brush and paint? Can it not simply be another picture? Another expression of beauty? Must a rose be “better” than an iris in order to justify its existence? I tell you this: you are all flowers in the Garden of the Gods.
.
Let go of your concern about what others think of you
- So long as you are still worried about what others think of you, you are owned by them. Only when you require no approval from outside yourself can you own yourself.
- If there were such a thing as sin, this would be it: to allow yourself to become what you are because of the experience of others.
.
Let go of worry for it is pointless and wastes mental energy
- All the problems you face today are going to go away, unless you worry them to stay. Problems like worry. Worry is a magnet for them. If you just “let it be,” the current worrisome condition will not even be part of your life a short time from now. If you worry enough about it, however, you can be sure that it will stick around.
- Worry is just about the worst form of mental activity there is—next to hate, which is deeply self-destructive. Worry is pointless. It is wasted mental energy. It also creates bio- chemical reactions which harm the body, producing everything from indigestion to coronary arrest, and a multitude of things in between.
- Worry is pointless. It is wasted mental energy.
.
Let go of old thoughts and make room for new possibilities
- Your mind is right now filled with old thoughts. Not only old thoughts, but mostly someone else’s old thoughts. It’s important now, it’s time now, to change your mind about some things. This is what evolution is all about.
- Perhaps the way to meet tomorrow’s challenges is not to use yesterday’s solutions, but to dare to think the previously unthinkable, to speak the previously unspeakable, and to try that which was previously out of the question.
- What you have carried in your mind about the world is what you will see around the world. What you carry in your mind about your life is what you will see in your life.
.
Realise your perceptions provide only a very limited view of reality
- I am telling you that your perception of ultimate reality is more limited than you thought, and that Truth is more unlimited than you can imagine.
.
Focus on the questions
- Stop looking all over the place for “the answers” – whatever they are – and start looking for the questions – the inquiries which are most important in your life, and give them answers. You do not live each day to discover what it holds for you, but to create it.
.
When you pray, come from a place of gratitude, not supplication
- The process of prayer becomes much easier when, rather than having to believe that God will always say “yes” to every request, one understands intuitively that the request itself is not necessary. Then the prayer is a prayer of thanksgiving. It is not a request at all, but a statement of gratitude of what is so.
- You will not have that for which you ask, nor can you have anything you want. This is because your very request is a statement of lack, and your saying you want a thing only works to produce that precise experience – wanting – in your reality. The correct prayer is therefore never a prayer of supplication, but a prayer of gratitude. When you thank God in advance for that which you choose to experience in your reality, you in effect, acknowledge that it is there…in effect. Thankfulness is thus the most powerful statement to God – an affirmation that even before you ask, I have answered. Therefore, never supplicate…appreciate.
.
Listen to your intuition
- Listen to your hunches, pay attention to your intuition, do not dismiss your random thoughts, inspirations or ideas. Heaven talks in snippets, not in speeches. Angels whisper fast. They have to when they’re flying around… Honour your Hints from Heaven. They could be giving you the best advice you ever had.
.
Recreate your beliefs to recreate your reality
- I recreate my beliefs. Thus, I have the power to recreate my reality. For what I believe, I experience. This is original power. I change beliefs that don’t belong. Like beliefs of need, separateness, scarcity, failure, judgement, conditionality of love, condemnation and superiority.
- What I believe, I will see in reality. I have the free will to believe or not believe what I choose. A master’s beliefs are not based on his experience, his experience is based on his beliefs. I use thoughts creatively to create beliefs – then I let go of thoughts and move to experience.
- Belief creates behaviours.
- There are those who say that seeing is believing. I am telling you that believing is seeing.
.
Live life from a sense of abundance, not lack
- The world is an abundant place. Abundant with opportunity, abundant with good fortune, abundant with ideas, and abundant with love. Reach into that abundance and take what is rightfully yours. It is your inheritance, gifted to you by God. Let yourself have it.
- If you beg and supplicate, there seems a much smaller chance that you will experience what you think you are choosing, because the Sponsoring Thought behind every supplication is that you do not have now what you wish. That Sponsoring Thought becomes your reality.
.
.
Happiness is a choice, not an experience
- A person can either do something in order to ‘be happy,’ or a person can start the day by simply deciding to ‘be happy,’ and the things that person will do will automatically reflect that.
- Happiness is a decision, not an experience. You can decide to be happy. Your experience is the result of your decision, not the cause of it.
.
Happiness is allowing yourself to be okay with what is
- Happiness is allowing yourself to be okay with what is, rather than wishing for, and bemoaning, what is not. Obviously, what is is what is supposed to be, or it would not be. The rest is just you, arguing with life. Somewhere along the way you will have to learn to just trust Life.
.
Happiness is found within and does not require anything external
- Your deepest, most perfect happiness will be found within, and once you find it, nothing exterior to your Self can match it, nor can anything destroy it.
- Happiness does not require anything external
- Need does not exist. I need nothing to be happy. Happiness is a state of mind.
- In the true order of things, one does not do something in order to be happy—one is happy and, hence, does something.
.
.
Fear and guilt are your only enemies
- Fear and guilt are your only enemies. If you let go of fear, fear lets go of you. If you release guilt, guilt will release you. How do you do that? By deciding to.
- FEAR is an acronym in the English language for ‘False Evidence Appearing Real’.
- Fear is the energy which contracts, closes down, draws in, runs, hides, hoards, harms. Love is the energy which expands, opens up, sends out, stays, reveals, shares, heals. Fear wraps our bodies in clothing, love allows us to stand naked. Fear clings to and clutches all that we have, love gives all that we have away. Fear holds close, love holds dear.
- You are afraid to die, and you’re afraid to live. What a way to exist.
.
Know the difference between love and fear
- All human actions are motivated at their deepest level by two emotions–fear or love. In truth, there are only two emotions– only two words in the language of the soul…. Fear wraps our bodies in clothing, love allows us to stand naked. Fear clings to and clutches all that we have, love gives all that we have away. Fear holds close, love holds dear. Fear grasps, love lets go. Fear rankles, love soothes. Fear attacks, love amends.
But you have free choice about which of these to select.
.
.
You don’t need to leave where you are to get where you want to be
- Here is the Divine Dichotomy… The way to ‘get there’ is to ‘be there’. Just be where you choose to get! It’s that simple
- There is no such thing as “getting to heaven.” There is only a knowing that you are already there. The irony is that most people think they have to leave where they are to get to where they want to be.
.
Thoughts on spirituality
- I think the new spirituality will be a spirituality that’s not based on a particular dogma. And that steps away from the old spiritual paradigm that we have created on this planet, which comes from a thought that there is such a thing as being better.
- Religion encourages you to explore the thoughts of others and accept them as your own. Spirituality invites you to toss away the thoughts of others and come up with your own.
- Spirituality doesn’t require you to believe or do anything. Rather, it continually invites you to notice your experience. Your personal experience becomes your authority, rather than something outside of you or what someone else has told you.
.
Thoughts on wealth
- If you think that joy has anything to do with money, you really do not understand what you are doing here.
- Life’s irony is that as soon as worldly goods and worldly success are of no concern to you, the way is open for them to flow to you.
.
Some key questions to ask
- Look at what you are doing moment to moment. Ask yourself in the midst of it, “What does this have to do with my real reason for being here? Is this what I have come all the way to the Earth to experience?” If the answer is a resounding Yes, keep doing it. If the answer is No, ask yourself, “What in the world am I doing?”
- So the question is not: Why start off on such a path? You have already started off. You did so with the first beat of your heart. The question is: Do I wish to walk this path consciously, or unconsciously? With awareness or lack of awareness? As the cause of my experience, or at the effect of it?
- The question ‘Who am I?’ is not an idle one. How you answer the question will determine how you live the rest of your life. It will determine the quality of your life.
- What is going on right now? And what can you do Right Now to make Now better? Make each Now better and the future will take care of itself, while the past will not matter.
- What part of my Self do I wish to experience now in the face of this calamity? What aspect of being do I choose to call forth? For all of life exists as a tool of your own creation, and all of its events merely present themselves as opportunities for you to decide and be, Who You Are.
- A five-word sentence that could change the world tomorrow is “What would love do now?”
.
More thoughts
- Mine is always your highest thought, your clearest word, your grandest feeling. Anything less is from another source. The highest thought is always that thought which contains joy. The clearest words are those words which contain truth. The grandest feeling is that feeling which you call love.
- Teach your children that they need nothing exterior to themselves to be happy – no person, place, or thing – and that true happiness is found within. Teach them that they are sufficient unto themselves.
- The first thing to understand about the universe is that no condition is “good” or “bad.” It just is. So stop making value judgments. The second thing to know is that all conditions are temporary. Nothing stays the same, nothing remains static. Which way a thing changes depends on you.
- The laws are very simple: thought is creative; fear attracts like energy; love is all there is.
- The secret of life is not to have everything you want, but to want everything you have.
- There are no victims in the universe, only creators. The Masters who have walked this planet all knew this.
- We make real that to which we pay attention. The Master knows this. The Master places himself at choice with regard to that which she chooses to make real.
- The soul is that which beholds beauty even when the mind denies it.
- The soul understands what the mind cannot conceive.
- The soul creates, the mind reacts.
- When you give your children knowledge, you are telling them what to think. When you give your children wisdom, you do not tell them what to know, or what is true, but, rather, how to get to their own truth.
- You cannot hope to solve any problem using the same energy that created the problem.
- Your moment of awakening can come to you at any time, and through any person. Therefore, honour all times and all people.
- The promise of God is that you are His son. Her offspring. Its likeness. His equal. Ah…here is where you get hung up. You can accept “His son,” “offspring,” “likeness,” but you recoil at being called “His equal.” It is too much to accept. Too much bigness, too much wonderment—too much responsibility. For if you are God’s equal, that means nothing is being done to you—and all things are created by you. There can be no more victims and no more villains—only outcomes of your thought about a thing.
